PEOPLES CHURCH OF FLINT in the community
Our people and our facility are making a difference in the community. Here's how we do it...
working for change
Peoples Church of Flint's DNA is social justice. From the Underground Railroad, to Selma and fair housing, to Black Lives Matter and immigrant children, we've marched, read, written, shared, organized, challenged and invited folks to see a better way. It's sort of a Jesus-thing with us. Here's what we're working on now:
marriage equality ✔
mass incarceration reform
water quality, affordability and access
Plus, we're showing up for better gun laws, income equality and economic justice, racial justice, immigration and refugee justice, interfaith respect, and a demilitarization of law enforcement.
To get involved in any of these, to join a book group or get notified about upcoming events, email and we'll add you to our list.
